Lynne Rogers RN, BSN
Communicable Disease Supervisor
Lynne Rogers is a native Oregonian and dedicated Communicable Disease Nursing Supervisor with over 20 years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN). Her extensive background in various nursing roles has equipped her with the skills necessary to thrive in high-pressure environments, and her passion for public health led her to make a significant career shift during the COVID-19 pandemic. 
In 2020, Lynne returned to school to focus on community health, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2022. That same year, she joined Linn County’s Health Services as a Communicable Disease Nurse, where she quickly demonstrated her expertise in managing and preventing the spread of infectious diseases. In 2023, Lynne stepped into the role of Communicable Disease Nursing Supervisor, where she leads an amazing and sensational team in surveillance, investigation, and response efforts to communicable disease outbreaks. Her dedication to community health, combined with her clinical experience, allows her to effectively educate and advocate for the health and safety of the populations she serves.
Lynne is committed to ongoing professional development and actively participates in health initiatives aimed at improving health outcomes in diverse communities.
 

Gayle Woodworth
HIV/STI Prevention & Testing Coordinator | Disease Investigation Specialist
Gayle Woodworth is a dedicated public health professional with over 15 years of experience in health education and promotion. As an HIV/STI Prevention & Testing Coordinator, she specializes in implementing effective prevention strategies, conducting community outreach, and providing critical testing services to support public health initiatives. A lifelong resident of Linn County, Gayle has a deep understanding of the unique needs of her community. She approaches every client with empathy and understanding, ensuring accessible, inclusive, and compassionate care.
Gayle earned her degrees in Public Health (Health Promotion/Health Behavior) and Gerontology from Oregon State University and further advanced her expertise by obtaining a Master’s in Public Health in 2020. Her passion for community health and education drives her commitment to reducing health disparities and promoting well-being. She continues to advocate for accessible and evidence-based health services, striving to make a meaningful impact in the field of HIV/STI prevention.
 

Rachel Powell, RN
Communicable Disease Nurse
Rachel has been a Registered Nurse since 2020 and joined Linn County's Communicable Disease Team in 2022. In this role, Rachel has developed a strong passion for the mission of public health, particularly in education and disease prevention. Through her work, she hopes to make strides in the lowering of disease transmission within the community along with helping destigmatize certain diseases and infections.
Outside of work, Rachel is a busy mom of two who enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs, listening to music, and trips to Disneyworld.
 

Cassandra Aguilar, LPN
Communicable Disease Nurse | Immunization Coordinator
Cassandra started her journey as a caregiver then a medication tech at an assisted living facility. Working her way up, Cassandra became a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and worked as an in-home care CNA until she moved to providing care in a hospital in various departments. She received her Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in 2023. She currently works in the Communicable Disease Department as both a Communicable Disease Nurse and the Immunization Coordinator at Linn County. When not working, Cassandra can be found doing things outside like fishing, riding her motorcycle, or going for walks with her blue heelers. She loves being with her family, especially with all her baby nephews and nieces, friends, and husband. 
 

Jessica Hernandez
Community Health Worker
With five years of experience at Linn County, Jessica began her journey in 2020 with contact tracing efforts. In 2021, she transitioned into Environmental Health, and in 2023, she took on her current role as a Community Health Worker. Fluent in both Spanish and English, she is passionate about bridging gaps in healthcare and ensuring that all members of our community receive the support and resources they need for better well-being.
