Communicable Diseases
The Linn County Public Health Communicable Disease program:
- performs disease surveillance activities
- investigates reportable diseases and conditions
- responds to disease outbreaks in the community
- implements control measures to stop the spread of diseases in order to protect and promote the health and well-being of county residents
The Linn County Public Health Communicable Diseases Program works in close collaboration with Linn County Public Health's Health Officer, Dr. Adam Brady.
All Oregon physicians, other health care providers and laboratorians are required by law to report certain diseases and conditions to the patient's local health department.
